Knowles Warwick

Steve Knowles is a Chartered Accountant who established his own practice, Knowles Warwick, in 1985. The practice has an excellent reputation built on a clear understanding of how business works, and now has almost 30 years of experience in helping its clients achieve their dreams and ambitions. Knowles Warwick has evolved into a firm that is much more than just the cold facts and figures of accountancy – its different, multi-faceted approach integrates client centred, bespoke services, ranging from business start-up and planning; financial advice; IT services; mergers and acquisitions, and more. The firm recently launched their new Financial Services company; KWFS, headed up by their qualified in-house IFA, Daniel Eatch. With clients from South Yorkshire to China and the Middle East; international corporations to franchises and self-employed professionals: Knowles Warwick is a local firm with a broad reach and a varied scope. In spring 2011, Steve was named “Mentor of the Year” for the Sheffield region by Connect Yorkshire, the organisation which helps entrepreneurs and high growth companies to gain funding and expertise. He was President of the Sheffield & District Society of Chartered Accountants in 2011 and 2012 and is currently Director of the Sheffield Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA). In the summer of 2008 he was nominated for the “Yorkshire Forward Deal Maker of the Year” award, having achieved over £10m worth of deals in the previous 12 months. Steve was Chairman and President of the Sheffield Business Club from 1998 to 2003, he was a governor of the Sheffield College from 2000 to 2008, and was made Chairman of the Board of Governors from 2005 to 2008.
