Business crime reduction advice

The Business Crime Reduction Centre (BCRC) provides free and impartial crime reduction advice to small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) which is varied and adapted to suit individual business needs.

The advice covers physical security, fraud prevention and ICT security as well as free attendance at training events.

BCRC is a partnership between Yorkshire-based charity, People United Against Crime and the South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Humberside Police forces. BCRC is part financed by the European Union through the Yorkshire and Humber European Regional Development Fund Programme 2007-2013.

A local Business Advisor (BA) is assigned to a business to provide a personal, tailor-made security service to the business.

All BA’s are specially trained Police Community Support Officers from the Yorkshire and Humber region. To find out more please contact us:
